I founded AlGihaz in 1975, after years of teaching in technical colleges in Dammam and Jeddah. The company focused on civil contracting works. However, at the time, this domain was not as fulfilling as I wanted it to be. Thus, I embarked on the journey which has gotten me where I am today in the electrical construction works
I believed in myself and managed my time efficiently. I respected the time and views of my teammates and my clients. My dedication to my work drove me to waking up early for prayer and being the first at work. The perseverance I opted for gave me great satisfaction and contributed tremendously to the success of my business, and to my personal growth. My family, community services, contribution to conferences and chairing the Al Baha chamber of commerce were equally important. Striking a balance among them was not an easy task but a very well managed one. When the government embarked on industrializing the country, it was a natural inner drive to take part in this endeavor. This resulted in the going on-stream of the Saudi Factory for Filling Net & Woven Sacks (SWS). Furthermore, my interest in the real estate development gradually grew to a sizeable business. It constitutes today a major component of our assets in Saudi Arabia and in the region. At present many projects are in concept, design and construction phases. With my eldest son Sami leading the AlGihaz Group, new business areas have been identified and introduced, particularly in the areas of automation, information, and communication technologies as well as in the modernization of our workspace and industrial assets. In todays global market and geopolitical arena it is imperative to ride the wave of development and technology with strength while preserving our cultural heritage and values. I see the future of AlGihaz in good hands. I am confident that with the forward thinking of our younger generation, better and greater times awaits the AlGihaz workforce, its partners and clients.
